SASUKENEI KILN - EXHIBITION

An exhibition about Sasukenei, the kiln from from Japan brought to France by Pierre Architta and André Adelheim.

Pierre Architta and André Adelheim have found the ispiration from Japanese ceramists.
The garden of Pierre’s atelier hosts Sasukenei, a particular kiln.
The kiln with wood is very challenging: it requires a particular know-how, an inspired sense of art and a great humility to face the earth’s hazards. If all of these elements are reunited, the colours are illimited and the concretion of ashes makes unique creations.

Also the building of the kiln was an exploit of technique and a fantastic adventure.
L’artiste plasticien Aurélie Malbec has followed the process of creation of Sasukenei.
Her watercolours bring the audience to discover the creative process.
